Client Finance Associate (Biller)
You will be the point of contact for our internal teams and will be expected to advise on all client billing issues. Great at multitasking with an ability to complete multiple projects at a time and strong attention to detail. Keen emotional intelligence and client relationship skills, experience working with high touch clients. Understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, reserves). The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment and clearly present ideas both verbally and in writing.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for preparation and distribution of monthly client invoices, client back-up and budget trackers, completing all tasks by monthly deadlines:
Maintain current and accurate client billing - Review all WIPs to make billable and non-billable moves; review prebill balances, process write-offs, review rate cards, payment terms
Update and maintain budget trackers for all Clients and resolve issues proactively by documenting budget overages, etc.
Deliver all WIPs drafts, invoices, and budget trackers to Client Managers for review proactively each month. (Set up a billing schedule with each client team to set monthly expectations and deadlines.)
Pull all back-up to be included with final invoices
Complete e-invoicing (enter monthly invoices into client portals), and track submissions of all invoices sent via finance and client teams
Participate and assist in resolving Accounts Receivable billing issues:
Responsible for update and maintenance of all job codes throughout the life cycle
Client reporting and Ad-Hoc reporting as requested/required
Manage client budgets; review SOWs, POs, and MSAs to support client teams as the go to resource for a centralized understanding of each budget
Lead the financial management of the account as well as directing the internal client teams to follow agency SOP
Manage $10M plus of client revenue
Participate in Internal Finance and Client-level meetings as needed
CORE SKILLS:
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work across all departments and levels
Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, sorting-filtering, basic calculations), Word, PowerPoint, Teams and working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Effective organization and time management skills
Ability to organize and participate in client team meetings
Experience using financial systems, Maconomy is a plus

In New York City, the base salary for this position at the time of the posting is $35,000-$65,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
