Job Summary
The Marketing Strategy Senior Analyst is a dynamic role which will challenge results-oriented individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, breaking new ground and finding innovative new solutions to drive a best-in-class digital experience. This role leverages strong analytical skills to solve problems, builds/develops relationships within UPS and its partner organizations, and offer significant contributions to strategy development and execution. You will also have opportunities to employ strong communication skills to engage and influence internal senior leadership. Finally, you will manage multiple, complex work streams with critical deadlines to drive successful execution of projects that hold significant impact for both UPS and our customers.
This position gathers data and performs analyses to develop and evaluate UPS's digital experience strategy. The incumbent consults with internal subject matter experts to assist in identifying the best approach to gather information and solve business issues. This position follows relevant and emerging trends, works to understand customer needs, and assists with the implementation of digital transformation initiatives. This role uses in-house reporting tools/secondary data sources to gather data for analyses and decision-making. This position summarizes and communicates results of analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Gathers data and performs analyses necessary to develop product management and marketing strategies
Consults with internal subject matter experts to assist in identifying the best approach to gathering information and solving business issues
Conducts detailed external analysis to help develop a current/future view of markets
Evaluates competitive position with the managed partner to identify areas of opportunity to grow market share
Regularly communicates with partner to understand customer needs as they evolve over time
Summarizes and communicates to key stakeholders throughout the organization
Employs strong project management skills involving multiple work streams with high attention to detail
Builds relationships cross functionally internally/externally to drive project execution
Preferences
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication, presentation development and negotiation capabilities
Displays comfort in speaking and presenting to varied audiences
Possesses ability to manage multiple complex work streams with tight deadlines and project management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other data analysis tools
Demonstrates database skills using technical programs and UPS internal systems such as DWH knowledge and drawing insights from data sets
Knowledge and experience with SQL, Power BI other advanced data analytic tools
Understands commonly used digital technologies (ex. APIs, Cloud)
Knowledge of the digital industry
Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or Technology related field
