Market Intelligence Analyst

Profile

: World's premier provider of orthotic and prosthetic services and products is looking for a Senior level Market Intelligence Analyst to join the growing marketing team. This role is 100% remote
and supports marketing and commercial functions, responsible for studies of market size, trends, regulations, products, and customers to direct strategic decision-making.
This role has three function areas:
Data Analytics (not data science)
Internal Reporting (Revenue/sales data, trends, volume mix)
External market research data (Patient population, Market Opportunites, healthcare claims)
The ideal person for this role is someone with analytic experience with skills such as advanced excel, SQL, statiscial Software experience extracting data and making sense of it. Working within healthcare, hospital systems or the public health sector is the best industry background.
Responsibilities
: Leverage deep research and subject matter expertise to provide advisory to company's commercial functions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define scope of analytical projects. Develop and execute projects end-to-end.
Collect data from both external and internal sources, triangulate and build models to generate market intelligence and business insights.
Market analyses include market size and trends, patient diseases and populations, hospitals, and physicians. Internal analyses include procedures, claims, product and service segments, device volume and mix.
Develop complex and visible analytics deliverables; effectively summarize and communicate insights (written and verbal presentations) to internal stakeholders to address critical business questions.
Work with stakeholder groups to build analytics infrastructure to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
: 6 years market research or data analytics experience in the healthcare industries.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics, mathematics, or healthcare policies; Master degree or equivalent preferred
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint / Excel, skills in using statistic software. SQL and PowerBI skills a plus
