Job Description
Duties:
Performs or assists higher graded analysts in conducting independent studies and surveys related to a specific module, phase or work process of a major system.
Identifies mainframe, distributed client server, PC based applications, automated voice response and imaged document processing needed to enhance automated or manual processes.
Investigates, analyzes, determines the cost and impact of proposed changes or new subsystems and makes recommendations concerning military pay actions and transactions.
Conducts system and parallel testing, reconciles, monitors and helps evaluate project efforts and monitors system changes to ensure proper coordination among all DFAS Sites.
Develops test plans and prepares test input situations designed to test software and clerical procedures.
