Description

The Lead Rebate Modeling Analyst will provide leadership of the Pharmacy Rebate Modeling team. This team develops financial modeling and utilization insights on Humana's Pharmacy Rebates portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of analysts dedicated to Pharmacy Rebate Modeling & Pharmacy utilization
Utilizes advanced models to aid in making complex financial decisions
Uses project management skills to coordinate inputs from multiple supporting teams
Fully manages the relationship between the analytics team and the trade team that interacts and negotiates with drug manufacturers
Routinely presents modeling results in meetings with key stakeholders and executive decision makers
Leads development of various tools and reporting packages to aid internal customers and partners in assumption development


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of technical experience in data analysis
2 or more years of leadership experience
Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience
Advanced experience in SAS and Excel
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
Proficiency in verbal/written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience with tools such as Power BI for creating data visualizations
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
