Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
In this role, the Indirect Cost Analyst will report to Houston Service Center Sr. Finance Manager and will:
Be Dedicated to Overhead Cost, overhead cost per hour/overhead rate and Facility Costs.
Track overhead cost, pacing for the quarter and manage all related ledger activities.
Hold periodic indirect cost reviews with Operations.
Assist and arrange Monthly/Quarterly Compensation & benefit, OT and Contractor charge reviews with HR and Shop leaders.
Monitor applied hours Performance monthly.
Supervise facility cost performance, ad hoc reviews, and deep dives.
Own Shop rewire/allocations.
Assist with month-end, Quarter-end, and year-end closing process.
Support weekly pacing estimate process to drive accountability and profitability of long-term service contracts and transactional services volumes.
Partner with shop operations team to drive cost out, support Finance lead with lead key initiatives, and set KPIs for org.
Own Overhead cost per hour, setup, Pacing, over/under absorption analysis.
Assist with account reconciliations and proper account reporting.
Assist with annual Physical inventory exercise.
Participate and assist with annual external and internal audits.
Assist and support with other related tasks assigned by Finance lead.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations and make judgments based on practice or previous experience.
Previous industry experience in finance within a Manufacturing or Service environment.
Desired Characteristics
Strong ERP & systems expertise preferably (HFM, Oracle)
Desire to work in a highly visible environment
Ability to execute across multiple priorities independently & decisively
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities
Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
Approachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels
