ROLE: Senior Data Analyst, Financial Control

 

LOCATION: Dublin (Hybrid Working Model)

 

This role is being offered on a PERMANENT basis.

 

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Financial Control is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive accounting service to all businesses and functions across the enterprise. This covers the end to end accounting process from core system controls, to delivery of statutory, management, legal entity and consolidated group accounts and external regulatory reporting obligations imposed as a result of our banking licenses

 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

*Drive initiatives to enhance Finance data acquisition, integration, analysis, reporting and visualisation and/or Finance systems *Engage with Finance stakeholders to understand their business requirements and define Data/System solutions to help achieve these objectives and ensure consistency with our Finance Data & Systems Strategy *Ensure adherence to AIB's Data Ownership Framework where relevant *Ensure that adequate governance and controls are in place to ensure the integrity of the Data used throughout Finance *Ensure adherence to AIB's change management practices and ongoing compliance with BCBS239 *Participate in business projects and change initiatives, proposing workable business solutions to ensure Financial Control requirements are met *Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained and that both internal & external customer commitments are met within agreed timelines

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU HAVE:

*3 years experience working in a data/systems analysis role *Strong planning and organisational skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines *Ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied decision making scenarios *Experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners. *Knowledge of project management and SDLC
