We are hiring a **Principal Marketing Analyst** to be a key member of the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Upstream Pipeline and Analytics Marketing team. In this role you will be a catalyst for the continued growth acceleration of the PVH organization by contributing to the development of the business and marketing strategy and leading robust analytics. You will work with the franchise disease experts to develop the therapy market models, provide critical inputs in support of the strategic plan, and create competitive and quarterly business analytics. You will have the opportunity to work across disease states and therapies and define scalable structure that streamlines data flow from disease states and regional markets. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for business metrics and have significant visibility to the organizational strategy. **A Day in the Life**
Develop annual analytics goals with business and finance leadership.
Lead the development and monitoring of strategic plan, business, and competitive analytics
Create structure that streamlines capturing market and PVH performance to report market share
Be the PVH analytics expert; Mentor junior analysts to build competencies of team
Identify new analytics tools, approaches, and best practices, and new data sources to advance PVH analytic and inform business decisions.
Own the creation, inputs, and collection of data for disease and therapy market models while partnering with the disease experts
Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to craft quarterly franchise investor relations reports; present to PVH and Medtronic leadership
Interface with the regional business units to forecast disease incidence, therapy penetration, and competitive trends
Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate therapy development opportunities, develop disease and product based KPIs and monitor progress
Collaborate with the pipeline and downstream marketing teams to create action plans and complete execution to realize opportunities
Respond to ad hoc analytics requests from marketing and sales and also proactively identify and complete insightful business analytics
Manage the reporting and identify improvement / recommended changes for balanced scorecard metrics
Utilize research and collaboration with the Regional Business Units to identify treatment gaps, develop and manage the analytics to identify the opportunities that can be realized by the business
Develop deep relationships with the Marketing, Sales, Strategy and Finance organizations and obtain a thorough understanding of business strategy / product attributes to facilitate quality analysis and business partnering
Provide strategic interpretation of data and dashboards
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelors Degree
7 years of experience in finance, business development, marketing, supply chain or other data analytics role (5 years with Advanced Degree)
Project Management experience
Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
**Nice to Have:**
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Advanced Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS / COUNTIFS, INDEX, MATCH, etc.)
Charting/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire)
Experience in supporting decision-making through building compelling outputs from complex excel models.
Vascular experience, and/or experience in working with medical device marketing.
Exposure to working with multiple cultures in international business
Experience working with multiple teams concurrently providing support across multiple initiatives
Interest and aptitude to thoroughly understand product portfolios and competitive situations in order to more effectively conduct value-added analytics
Desire to work in a changing industry environment with a mix of regularly scheduled reporting responsibilities and ad hoc analyses
