Principle Responsibilities:


Finance business partner for the cell therapy manufacturing plant and primary finance point of contact for plant operations.

Prepare financial budgets and forecasts for plant level operations including Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and MS&T.

Provide financial support for investment decision making on new technologies, capital purchases, operational efficiency projects, and other special requests.

Perform manufacturing work order review and variance analysis on a weekly/monthly basis.

Participate in the standard cost setting process for cell therapy products including manufacturing recipes, formulas, and routings.

Monitor supply chain costs and inventories, and drive operational improvements where necessary.

Partner with the plant leadership team to understand key cost drivers and drive plant optimization initiatives.

Oversee the plant's cycle counting and physical inventory programs ensuring a high standard of inventory control.

Responsible for maintaining key controls for SOX related to inventory and COGS.

Satisfy internal and external audit requests as necessary.


Desired Skills and Experience:


7-10 years of experience in Finance Operations / Cost Accounting with on-site manufacturing.

Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing a plus.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus.

Experienced in leading cross functional teams to achieve financial and non-financial goals.

Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships throughout all levels of an organization.

Tier one ERP experience necessary such as Oracle or SAP.

Strong systems skills required including financial modeling in Excel, business intelligence tools, and budgeting and financial reporting applications.
