SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the oversight of the finance and Analysis function of approximately 17 production facilities within Prepared Foods. As the business partner to a VP of Operations, this position helps drive efficiency of the production network, delivers aggressive productivity goals, and help shape long-term strategic road map of supply chain. The specific responsibilities of this role include: financial forecasting including identifying risks and opportunities to the forecast at both the plant and business unit level; ensuring compliance of controls and standard practices leading the annual budgeting process, making decisions regarding the standard cost setting process; providing thought leadership in driving operational excellence; managing financial systems, turning data into information and insights; balancing short-term deliverables and long-term strategic goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications: Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting.
Experience: 10 years with demonstrated progression.
Computer Skills: adept at Office systems including Excel; SAP knowledge is also beneficial.
Communication Skills: Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Special Skills: People leadership, Thought leadership.
Supervisory: 3 direct reports with extended team of 50
Travel: 10 or more domestic trips per year
