ROLE TITLE: MANAGER, EQUITY CAPITAL.

 

LOCATION: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

 

*Are you a professional with experience in private equity investments or corporate transactions? *Can you build financial models and complete detailed financial analysis to assess potential equity investment opportunities?
 

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

Equity Capital is a unit within AIB Capital Markets with responsibility for the review, selection and execution of equity investments on behalf of the Bank, in line with Bank strategy.

We are looking to appoint a Manager to join the Equity Capital team.  Reporting to the Head of Equity Capital and as a team member, you will be responsible for the review, selection and execution of equity investment opportunities.

 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

*Provide initial investment review and screening of potential investment opportunities *Support other members of the team, primarily but not exclusively through financial analysis *Undertake extensive financial modelling to support potential investments *Assist in preparation and presentation of investment recommendations *Participate in execution and negotiation of new investments *Provide ongoing monitoring of investments *Help build relationships with intermediaries, third party funds, investors and customers *Assist in the recording, reporting and management of the equity portfolio *Be a collaborative and positive team player

*Relevant experience in private equity investing and / or corporate finance *Knowledge of investment principles, accounting and tax *Extensive financial modelling skills and experience in Excel *Clear, concise writing skills *Effective interpersonal and communication skills *Proven customer relationship skills *Proven track record of project delivery against challenging objectives and timelines
