Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager Job

Full-service area bank that provides commercial and relationship banking services and offers an array of credit and deposit products for both individual and business clients throughout the Hudson Valley Region of New York. Bank is currently seeking a Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager to join the team due to expansion. The Commercial Portfolio Manager assists the lenders with the underwriting of credit and the ongoing administration of loan portfolios to ensure that the bank maintains high credit quality. Assists with the day-to-day management of existing large customer portfolios in high growth markets, having a moderate degree of difficulty.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Underwrite complex secured and unsecured loans and lines of credit
* Experienced with C&I and CRE deals
* Perform detailed credit diligence, spread, and analyze financial statements
* Monitor portfolio for revenue opportunities and/or loan exposures
* Monitors existing credit for issues or concerns and conducts credit reviews as required
* Supports lenders in working with large and complex customers with existing and proposed credit requests
* Ensures all transactions comply regulatory and company guideleines, policies, and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Minimum 5 years of credit analysis and underwriting experience
* Credit trained
* Experience with Bank financial analysis and spreedsheet systems
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to work independently or within a team
