Responsibilities
Provide data-driven insights to enable financial decision making.
Construct mathematically supported arguments and models in response to business needs.
Perform financial data analysis, charting, graphing and make recommendations to management to improve efficiency and to make sound business decisions.
Establish methodology and relevant metrics, and then work with the Business Intelligence team to create the appropriate reports and analysis
Develop, own, and present dashboards to Senior Management, through visualizations and trend reports, to help interpret and analyze certain business decisions and provide value-added data deliverables and financial impact.
Create complex SQL queries, perform ad hoc and exploratory analysis, propose solutions to data and reporting needs and ensure compliance to corporate data security requirements for the storage, transportation and retention of data.
Perform quality control and report audits, version control and change management documentation.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create identifier/tracer reports.
Create financial impact reports and present findings to management.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics from US accredited university, or the foreign equivalent, plus three years experience as Financial Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Informatics & Analytics Manager or Business Intelligence Manager.
