Credit/Collections Analyst
Location – Round Rock, TX
Job Responsibilities:
Perform B2B collections by prioritizing and contacting delinquent customers via phone and email; document customer payment issues
Use assertive, yet sensitive, communication techniques in dealing with delinquent customers
Minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), past due balances, and unapplied payments while increasing percentage current
Analyze payment history and trends to identify possible risk exposure and action to take on future orders
Promptly resolve billing, service and Accounts Receivable issues
Recognize and proactively communicate potential billing and collections issues – escalate large collections issues appropriately and notify management of write-off concerns
Promote strong collaborative relationships between the Collections team and all other internal teams, especially Sales and Customer Service
Utilize system tools and Excel for reporting
Requirements:
2 years' collections experience
Understanding of DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and Percent Current
Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables)
CBA (Credit Business Associate) designation is highly preferred – issued by National Association of Credit Management
