Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position provides support to the Finance Directors and VP of Finance in planning, business analysis, and M&A activity. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of the planning process encompassing the strategic plan, annual operating plan, monthly and quarterly projections, and performance metrics and working to continuously improve all aspects of the planning process. This position will assist the Financial Planning manager in creating and maintaining the total company projection database and producing the quarterly business review and monthly projection presentations. In addition, this position is responsible for collaborating with senior leaders across the company in establishing and tracking performance metrics and providing assistance and training on using the Performance Metrics tool. Other duties are maintaining communication and updating assumptions on the financial planning website, monthly reporting for Board of Directors, preparing competitive analysis, creating and maintaining executive dashboard reporting, and providing M&A support. Other financial analysis projects and reporting as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree; Accounting or Finance preferred.
Experience: 3 years of experience with an emphasis on financial analysis and reporting. Broad knowledge of Tyson's segments and business structure is a plus.
Computer Skills: Requires intermediate computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Tyson Financial Reporting (AFE), Tableau, and SharePoint preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact with key management leadership at all levels.
