(link removed)> What You Will Do:
Manages, administers, analyzes, and controls from a financial perspective the operations at Single Digits. Leads the budgeting and forecast processes for Operations, as well as profitability analysis, business case analysis, and other strategic initiatives to support the Operations team.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Control, analyze, budget, and forecast operations activities, including inventory, project-based installation, and logistics.
Provide expert analysis and evaluations of operations performance, trending, and outlooks, including proposing financial goals, key performance indicators, and initiatives to realize them, as well as mechanisms to track achievement.
Implement analytics initiatives and provide the Operations leadership teams with clear and actionable insights to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the various sales channels and products.
Contribute to the elaboration of purchasing and sales budget and strategic plans as well as forecasts for our inventory purchases and supply chain.
Ensure the reliability of projects-based forecasting and reporting.
Analyze upstream impacts on profitability and propose corrective actions.
Contribute to the analysis of the variances and propose appropriate corrective actions.
Develop, execute, and establish internal procedures that guarantee proper process controls.
Ensure alignment between sales, internal purchasing, finance, and operations reporting requirements.
Communicate with operations, professional services, purchasing, sales, accounting, and finance to ensure proper information flow.
Improve workflow to track sales price changes and propose improvement to sales administration process.
Validate sales price changes.
Validate forecast/budget and closing assumptions for purchasing, project-based services, and conversion to recurring revenue.
Develop, track, and forecast Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) both business level and board level across operations functions.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
MBA or Masters in Finance desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in finance with project-based operations and system integration-based companies.
Knowledge:
Requires high level of expertise using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and associated system skills working in multiple areas from SalesForceDotCom (SFDC), Intacct, and other SFDC products.
Advanced knowledge of processes such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) (effects on values flow), and the financial support processes.
Understanding of project accounting and revenue recognition.
Extensive knowledge in financial reporting, controlling, and analysis of financial data.
