What is the role?
Shell’s Renewables & Energy Solutions business was created in 2016 and leads the development and growth of Shell’s integrated power business, including low-carbon sources like wind and solar, new mobility options like electric vehicle charging and lower-carbon fuel options like hydrogen for industry and road transport. Shell continues to provide customers with more renewable and low-carbon power, helping customers to switch to these options through energy solutions and decarbonisation services.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Joint Venture Governence of Atlantic on behalf of the Asset Owner (Offshore Wind Americas GM)
Objectives / Deliverables / Expectations includes:
Accountable for owners involvement in HSE plan and activities
Responsible for safeguarding and enhancing Shell’s investment in the JV(s) through managing the Shareholders Agreement and other relevant agreements
Customer of the JV(s)
Supports and challenges JV GM and project team
Single point of contact for JV project both in and out of Shell as a parent company
Manage governance management and forming Shell view on decision making
Internal reporting (project status, decisions, progress, financial status and other issues
Ensuring the JS is opperating within Mandate of Shell
Briefing and running Steer co's and inputting into board meetings and framing decisions
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in venture capital, growth/private equity
Inclusive leader (coach, mentors and listens)
Social and analytical qualities: much thought-after team player
Strong deal-sheet of deals and exits led or co-led in recent years
Broad, active network of co-investors and entrepreneurs
Strategic and inquisitive mindset.
Purpose driven: Affinity with the energy transition and climate change
