Systems administration and/or vulnerability scanning technical expertise
Data extraction and analysis of aggregated vulnerability data, including trend analysis, establishing key metrics, and tracking
Collaboration skills by working with infrastructure and application engineers to identify remediation actions, prioritize, and facilitate through to full remediation
Communication skills to summarize key metrics, trends, and status for senior leaders

The Threat and Vulnerability Management Engineer 2 ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization's business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized. The Threat and Vulnerability Management Engineer 2 work assignments involve moderately complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of variable factors.

Job Description

Humana is seeking a Threat and Vulnerability Management Engineer 2 that:


Analyzes vulnerability information, generates metrics, monitors trends, facilitates resolution with owners, and provides reporting to senior leaders.
Monitors overall compliance with security standards and conducts periodic security audits.
Begins to influence department's strategy.
Makes decisions on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed with minimal direction.
Exercises some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.


Required Qualifications


1-5 years of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or IT experience, such as server administration, workstation administration, anti-virus software, and/or vulnerability scanning systems.
2-5 years experience in data analysis and reporting using SQL, Excel, and Access.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to work constructively across organizational boundaries


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor'sDegree in a Technical Field
Holds certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar training and certification.
Knowledge and experience with the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response module
Healthcare or Financial industry experience
