Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Portfolio Management Professional organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets. The Senior Financial Portfolio Professional will make changes to schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. This individual will influence the network engineering department's strategy and will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Responsibilities will include working with large, national telecom vendor companies to support the financial goals of the network engineering team. This will include understanding credit variances and creating financial graphs to share with leaders. This Professional will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of similar, financial experience
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


MBA or other Advanced Degree
Six Sigma certification
Experience working with national telecom vendor companies
Experience in problem analysis and process
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
