Aon is looking for a Financial AnalystAs part of an industry-leading team, we will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Finance business group within Aon Affinity in Garden City, NY. As a Financial Analyst, you will report directly to the Finance Manager.  This position has a Hybrid schedule including 2-3 days in the office.Your impact as a Financial AnalystJob Responsibilities:Claims check and check void processing.Premium escrow analysis and processing.Subledger account analysis.Month end operational metrics and analysis.Assists with annual plan process and other financial reporting to ensure all corporate deadlines are met.Assist with Internal and Carrier Audits as needed.Prepares reconciliation, remittance and carrier invoicing, Tour and Broker payments and Subledger Ledger reconciliation.This position requires a self-starter and independent individual able to work in a deadline driven environment.Strong communication skills - will interface with all levels of management.Other duties as assigned by manager. You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, v lookups, etc) Premium Accounting and experience with accounting software.Ability to work independently and as a team member.Multi task oriented.Preferred Experience:Experience with AccPac, PeopleSoft and Cognos Finance preferred.Insurance experience a plus, not a requirement.Experience working with auditors is a plusAt least 3-5 years of relevant work experience   Experience  BA degree required - Finance or Accounting preferred  How we support our colleagues   About Aon:Aon plc (NYSE:AON) is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions. Our 50,000 colleagues in 120 countries empower results for clients by using proprietary data and analytics to deliver insights that reduce volatility and improve performance. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
