The Lending Manager 1 will be responsible for supervising a team of Consumer Loan Underwriters engaged in reviewing loan applications and rendering a decision within the default decisioning space in loss mitigation.

Functions include:

•Managing unit's workflow to ensure that customer service standards are met, unit procedures and investor policies are followed and in compliance with government and Bank regulations

•Analyzing workflow policies and procedures and recommending changes as appropriate

•Maintaining appropriate records and documents under specified security control

•Creating and maintaining programs and reports

•Training, writing and conducting performance reviews

•Earning and maintaining personal Delegation of Authority of Level C within 90-120 days of coming into the role.

•May be responsible for the approval of second level reviews.

•Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.

•Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications:


3 years of lending experience
1 year of team leadership or management experience


Desired Qualifications:


Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
