The SIOP and Demand Planning Manager will lead the production planning group for Advanced Flow Solutions in Oklahoma City, OK across multiple product lines comprised of two different brands (Corken & Liquid Controls). The SIOP & Demand Planning Manager will be an integral part of the AFS team and manage SIOP processes to effectively balance forecasted demand and supply to deliver targeted revenue goals, onsite on-time delivery KPI’s, and ultimately meet customer requirements. This individual will champion communication between operations, commercial, and logistics teams to streamline production flow and minimize operations disruptions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for demand forecasting and supply chain activities supporting two distinct product lines, customer(s) and/or demand streams
+ Creates and maintains the forecast models incorporating business intelligence and demand information gathered from internal and external sources.
+ Develop and maintain a demand forecast which incorporates current and accurate market information.
+ Identify and bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances that would prevent an achievable, effective, and level-loaded Master Production Schedule
+ Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
+ Manage the entire SIOP process by utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
+ Ensure that decisions from the meetings are communicated to all relevant functions and ensure that execution is taking proceeding.
+ Support the implementation of tasks across business units and functions.
+ Prepare a rolling projection in partnership with Demand & Supply Planners, Inventory Management, Sales, Operations, and Finance
+ Define forecast granularity (details level) and netting rules together with all stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Sales, Finance, Order Management, Planning, Supply Chain)
+ Measure and improve forecast accuracy and assist in the reduction of inventory
+ Initiation, participation and leading of improvement projects for forecasting process
+ Support fulfillment at short notice customer demands
+ Develop routine and ad-hoc demand related reports.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance or other related field required
+ 8+ years of experience in analytics, supply chain or related to SIOP
+ 3 years’ experience in deploying and leading SIOP process and support the successful rollout and implementation.
+ Experience in using the Business Intelligence tools like Power BI & Tableau
+ Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
+ Prior knowledge of supply chain planning, material requirements planning, operations planning, or production planning are beneficial.
+ Proactive problem solver and strong analytical skills with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills.
+ Understanding of the application and concepts of Planning and Production Control fundamentals including MRP (JDEdwards preferred), Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
+ Highly skilled in engaging teams to deliver results in a rapidly changing environment.
+ Strong project management leadership, knowledge, and skills, covering planning and execution, including ability to rapidly assess risk and identify/resolve issues.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
