KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Finance - Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) to join our Finance & Accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop the scope and boundary for ESG reporting considering the feasibility, complexity and internal and external stakeholder interest in the reporting against key metrics
Define data requirements to support the external reporting and communication strategies
Ongoing monitoring of best practice ESG reporting, calling upon a wide range of inputs and drivers, including those developed by the external groups where KPMG has a presence
Maintenance and management of a clear project plan for new reporting requirements and processes and the communication of status updates to all key stakeholders
Assessment and recommendation of reporting frameworks, metrics and methodologies
Qualifications:
Minimum seven years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, auditing or a related consulting role with a minimum of at least one year specific experience in ESG reporting preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
Adept at managing KPIs and the data needs to support them
Experience of transformational change, arising from the introduction of new technologies or processes
Solid understanding of using performance metrics / KPIs and target setting along with data analysis skills
Effective interaction with senior business leaders, with an ability to establish strong relationships, both internally and externally
