ADP
Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
in
Roseland
New Jersey
ADP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A.
This role can be based in Roseland, NJ or Norfolk, VA
In this role, you will lead the forecasting, planning, and analytical support for one of ADP's business units. Your primary focus will include analyzing drivers of revenue within your business unit and using historical performance, operational business decisions/assumptions, and macroeconomic conditions to project future outcomes of revenue performance. You will also build, review, and enhance revenue models. Collaborating and knowledge sharing will be critical. You will use storytelling to connect results and revenue metrics to provide an impactful, concise explanation of current performance and future projections.
The day-to-day of this role will depend on the financial life cycle. As an example, during month-end close, you will focus on revenue variance analysis, checking for reasonableness, ensuring completion of reported revenue, and building a story for the Finance leadership team. During a forecast cycle, you will project future revenue with corresponding metrics and drivers. You will also present these projections to the business and finance leaders to gain support and approval. When you are in an operating plan cycle, the day-to-day will be similar to a forecast cycle with a bigger focus on a 12–24-month outlook [whereas a forecast cycle will focus more on a 6–9-month period]. Outside of these specific cycles, you will dig into revenue analytics to help aid future month-end close, forecast, or operating plan cycles. One thing is common to all these activities. You will become a subject matter expert for your business unit.
