With Aon’s people, rewards, knowledge sharing, individual contribution and work life balance - an actuarial career at Aon adds up. Job Responsibilities:Leveraged role focused on delivery high quality consulting and actuarial work to clients, leading to maintenance and growth of the client portfolioPerform advanced financial and actuarial consulting; experience with broader client leadership a plusLead and/or support actuarial team and provide technical coaching to other team members and actuarial studentsServe as lead or supporting financial expert in client meetingsActively engage in peer review: have documents reviewed before going to client and review others to ensure high qualityLeverage expertise locally to other actuaries, actuarial students, and other H&B consultantsMaintain knowledge of industry, market, and competition; anticipate external market trends, internal H&B needs and/or client needQUALIFICATIONSCollege degree/masters degree preferredFSA/ASA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or Associate of the Society of Actuaries) designation requiredExtensive health and welfare consulting experience: 8 years of industry experience (carrier or health care consulting)Project/client/financial management experienceBroad business knowledge/perspectiveBusiness development experience, including competitor and market knowledge a plusAdditional formal or informal responsibilities may include: People management or mentoring, Business development Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; medical, dental and vision insurance, various types of leaves of absence, paid time off, including sick days and vacation days, short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts,  employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance; optional personal insurance policies, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, and an employee assistance program that includes ****,000 annually.
