Aon is looking for an Intern Analyst, Investment Consulting in Toronto! This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likePrepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients which includes:Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers;Calculate performance statistics;Create and modify charts and tables;Draft investment manager performance commentary;Draft emails and letters in collaboration with consultants and peers;Work with a variety of investment excel-based tools;Peer review work performed by other analysts.Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure)Conduct searches for investment managers or CAP providersReview and amend governance documents (e.g. statement of investment policies and procedures)Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospectsKeep up to date about current financial events and newsParticipate in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical trainingHow this opportunity is differentYour role will expose you to the most creative and most promising investment professionals in Canada, while you learn and grow and ensure career success.Our focus is on making valuable contributions to our clients’ investment programs through development and application of innovative world‐class solutions, backed by our experience and the resources of Aon nationally and globally. Your work will positively impact significant investment pools and broad partner groups.Skills and experience that will lead to successRelevant co-op/intern experience (1-2 terms);General knowledge of the institutional investment industry, understanding of investment concepts and the financial markets;Highly motivated, self-starter and team-oriented individual;Highly organized individual, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;Outstanding oral and written communication skills  in English, (French is an asset);Ability to establish and form relationships;Ability to multi-task, work under timelines and adapt to changing business needs;Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite: Microsoft Excel (e.g. array and look-up formulas), PowerPoint and Word;Positive demeanour and a desire to participate to the success of Aon. Education:Pursuing Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Economics.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
