Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will maintain effective and well-organized investment processes and guidelines. You will work with the IP Solutions Team (as a matrix) on critical efforts around Sourcing, Valuation, and Assessment. As a member of the Investment Committee, recommend potential investment decisions, asset allocation, and establish a “tone at the top” culture of integrity, discipline, and fiduciary excellence!We require a unique blend of cross-functional skills, complexity management, process refinement and improvement, relationship building, deal structuring savvy, an outstanding work ethic, and humility.Job Responsibilities:Develop and present memos aligning with Fund’s investment mandates and credit profile. Partner with PM team to structure and close all transactions – key involvement in diligence, financial assessment and modeling, presentation to insurance markets, structuring and closing transactions (including review and negotiation of loan documents).Engage with external advisers and counsel of the GP. Perform regular monitoring of all investments. Regular Board observation functions and associated reporting with PortCos.Lead and support relationships and reporting with Investor Relations Team and Limited Partners. Work with external vendors to generate performance reports for investment portfolio for senior management team and third-party investors on a regular and timely basis.Continuously improve investment processes in consultation with investment committee. Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team. Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, partner issues, and other matters that could impact the business and its investments.Instill a can-do and collaborative culture that connects across teams and Aon. Be a role model who develops others by providing mentorship and coaching. Educate Aon network with thought leadership that shares standard methodologies regarding IP lending and solutions.Knowledge and Expertise:15 years of experience in finance and debt capital markets, successfully investing and managing a portfolio across asset classes within a fund environment, with credit investing focus.10 years of experience with credit portfolio management and investment team management within an investment bank, hedge fund, or other private fund environment with a proven track record of success.Strong understanding of rules, regulations, and compliance obligations of registered investment advisers and their representatives. Deep knowledge and understanding of capital markets, and a thorough understanding of key data for fund managers.Network of investor, alternative investment funds, and capital market-related relationships.Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team to drive consensus, and deliver a strong work product.Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast paced environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; proven resourcefulness in setting priorities.Education:Masters/MBA or CFA.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
