Description
The Finance Management Professional is a key business support function for the Humana IT Team. This role serves as a strategic finance partner for the Infrastructure and Operations group through in-depth analysis and insight into business performance. The role creates value by supplying expertise in financial thinking in order to support informed business decisions. Success in this role requires the development and application of complex financial analyses to assess business performance, ability to take on special initiatives requiring interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action including data analysis, report generation, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
The Finance Management Professional performs financial allocations for Infrastructure Operations, manages resource headcounts in alignment with the budget, support vendor PO tracking and assist team in contract submission and tracking. Partners with department leaders in organizing and prioritizing based on financial budgeting, forecast and IT strategy roadmap. Ensures appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of the Infrastructure Operations goals. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Works towards establishing a standardized and repeatable processes for the department.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong partnerships and deliver exceptional value.
Assisting department leaders with financial budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews and project financial tracking.
Perform Data consolidation and analysis for special programs.Supporting process improvement initiatives with financial analysis.
Applying critical thinking to existing environment to offer cost saving alternatives.
Collaborating with various departments across the organization to provide value-add analytics and critical thinking on ad hoc projects.
Experience working in an Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Process oriented, ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, well organized.
Experience with IT infrastructure framework.
5 years of technical experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
Advanced expertise in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Is comfortable and skilled in operating in a complex operational matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in financial modeling and valuation analysis
MBA or Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes.
Agile / PMP certification
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams.
