Senior Finance Manager & Client Relationship Lead Are you an experienced finance professional who has managed the finance tasks of a regulated insurance or reinsurance company? Are you interested in growing the scope of your knowledge and capabilities in a role which will provide you with exposure across the range of finance, underwriting, claims, compliance and risk management functions reporting to the Board of Directors? This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office. What the day will look like As a Senior Finance Manager & Client Relationship Lead you will lead an Aon Captive Management team to deliver top quality service to a number of our captive insurance clients and reinsurance companies. You will be responsible for the following tasks, for a number of our captive insurance/ reinsurance clients: Acting as Client Relationship Lead, leading a client service team, ranging typically from 3 to 7 people, to ensure the delivery of high-quality captive management and advisory services Lead, plan and manage the finance, reporting and audit requirements Prepare high quality reports and present to the Board of Directors Identify solutions to meet client needs You will participate in our Finance Practice leadership team who are passionate about creating and maintaining our service excellence in finance services to our captive clients, supporting with the below: Development of talent Allocations of resources to clients Resource and hiring planning Training, development and need for specialist expertise Systems advancements How this opportunity is different With Aon, as a Client Relationship Lead, we will encourage and support you to elevate your finance qualifications and experience to bring client servicing excellence and problem-solving capabilities through access to the breadth of Aon’s range of risk, retirement and health solutions. Skills and experience that will lead to success Possess strong client servicing skills Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualified experience Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a financial reporting function of a regulated insurance company/reinsurance company/captive insurance company or similar regulated financial services entity Solid understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment which governs insurance and reinsurance companies Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and lead a team How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
