The Primary Care Organization is in the midst of a significant growth strategy that requires a key focus on acquisition of new customers/patients and retention of current customers/patients while driving engagement across both. A critical component of the growth strategy is the ability to hire and retain best-in-class Physicians and talent in addition to cultivating relationships with a key cohort, health plan brokers and agents. We have the opportunity to build brand awareness in key markets and defend its position in others. This will require the development of marketing strategies that deliver at the brand-level while also delivering on market-level business dynamics and needs.
Responsibilities
Humana's Marketing team is looking for an experienced and passionate Product Marketer who is hyper customer focused with an ability to understand complex business models; and develop marketing strategies that drive desired business outcomes. You'll be responsible for developing market-resonating value propositions; position our care models and experience; and create messaging and campaigns that drive the behavioral change and ultimately positively impact the business.
Key Role Functions
Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that support the Primary Care Organizations' overall objectives across Conviva Care Centers and CenterWell with a clear focus on growth and engagement marketing across three key audiences - the customer, the broker/agent community and talent
Guide the creation and execution of go-to-market plans in partnership with marketing colleagues, key internal business partners, and other cross-functional teams
Drive the development of product marketing deliverables, including value proposition, product positioning, audience and attitudinal/belief/motivation/needs-based segment targets, and customer benefits
Lead internal partnerships with analytic teams to help shape and measure the impact of our marketing efforts
Liaise with external vendors and agencies (such as research agencies, brand agencies, media analytic partners) to ensure that their work meets the organization's strategy and business requirements, deadlines, and budget
Develop deep understanding of consumer insights related to this space; understand emerging trends and competitive environment; contribute innovative ideas for products and marketing solutions to team
Translate complex care products, models, and experiences into simple, creative, and impactful product communications that connect with and motivate behavioral change among key target audiences
Leverage Behavioral Economics biases and segmentation models to create targeted offers that drive better results; employ test and learn methodologies for rapid iterations
Establish and track key performance indicators and consistently report outcomes to key stakeholders
Lead by example by emulating behaviors consistent with the new ways of working, as well as Humana value
This role reports to the Product Marketing Lead for the Primary Care Organization This marketing professional is responsible for leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for Humana's Primary Care Organization supporting the Conviva Care Centers and CenterWell brands. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
At least 5 years of experience building and executing highly impactful product marketing strategies
Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Healthcare, Technology, Professional Services, or CPG
Positive track record of driving customer engagement with new products, services, and/or experiences
Deep empathy for the customer and ability to translate complexities into simple, comprehensible communications
Persuasive story teller who has demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders; executive presence
Expert knowledge and use of marketing frameworks
Ability to identify actionable insights and translate them into winning marketing strategies
Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs, and win their co-ownership in outcomes
Strong bias for results, self-starter with strong organizational skills, who is thorough and demonstrates a lot of initiative and follow-through
Ability to travel to grand opening events across the country on a regular basis
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree a plus
Agile working model experience
Bilingual English and Spanish; Proficient in reading, writing and speaking
Covid-19 Vaccine/Testing Requirement
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
