Our company is seeking to hire a skilled Software Developer to join our team to help with the development and support of our Next Gen application. Our technology is currently being modernized with a greenfield solution. This position’s focus is on the Next Gen platform. We are looking for an individual who can create diligent solutions from scratch, with the forethought to define the standard approach moving forward. More importantly, the individual should have a sense of pride and ownership with respect to their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors and improve its performance, together with related documentation concerning the process.
Testing systems and working with customers or departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance.
Applying strong knowledge of programming languages and the software development life cycle.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
Ability to work independently on projects
Financial Industry experience a plus
Night support coverage may be required in the future on a rotating basis
