Our client is seeking a Director of Acquisitions to join the dynamic and growing team in Denver, Colorado. This position is responsible for sourcing land acquisitions and value add opportunities throughout the Rocky Mountain Region, including, but not limited to Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona. The Director of Acquisitions will investigate, and source real estate opportunities primarily related to multifamily ventures that meet the company's pre-determined criteria and will work with the company's various disciplines from the project's inception until turnover to the development team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Acquisitions will investigate, and source real estate opportunities primarily related to multifamily ventures that meet the company's pre-determined criteria and will work with the company's various disciplines from the project's inception until turnover to the development team. They will identify and investigate:
Potential multi-family/mixed-use opportunities and sites for development of high-end, market rate projects in select submarkets
Value-add multi-family opportunities, particularly projects
Identify specific markets, submarkets and acquisition opportunities that meet strategic growth plans.
Develop strong relationships with the brokerage community, property owners and local municipalities.
Gather necessary market data to underwrite potential site or value add acquisition.
Prepare preliminary feasibility analysis.
Contact landowner (or Broker) to confirm site is available.
