Finance Intern - Convenience Stores - Year Round

SUMMARY:Responsibilities include: running weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the Convenience Store Finance management team; directly managing the outcome of specific projects as assigned by the supervisor; providing sales and marketing groups with timely, accurate information related to the Convenience Store division; preparing various sales and cost related reports for management and other departments; working with the financial analyst and the sales accountant for the group to help with any needs that may arise. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to: accounting systems, sales analysis, and a financial perspective in a large corporate environment.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Accounting or Finance major required. Junior or Senior Preferred. (At least one year of school remaining)Experience: Previous work experience in any field.Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skillsSpecial Skills: Desire to learn and a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams.

Position-Specific Requirements :This is a year-round internship in Springdale, AR. Candidates should expect to work 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer. Position plans to start as soon as possible.
