SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing full-service Accounting support for the Tyson Transportation Operations group.

These activities include: Managing Settlement process for both Company Drivers & Dedicated Fleets; Licensing/Permitting activities for Tyson Fleet and some Poultry Complex locations; Tyson Fleet Vehicle reporting and analysis; Journal Entry preparation / posting; Balance Sheet Reconciliation coordination / preparation; Annual Capital and Operational Plans assistance and maintenance; Ad Hoc reporting / inquiries and other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this position. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

Experience:

3 Years

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of SAP preferred, Analysis for Excel preferred and basic Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel skills preferred).

Special Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement and interact with all levels of management. Team player.

Supervisory Skills:

This position is responsible for managing clerical staff who perform various Accounting activities.

Travel:

1-2 Domestic trips per year.
