Description
The Market Research Department works with leadership across the enterprise as business advisors by leveraging our expertise in loyalty and advocacy insights. We are deeply skilled in the processes and platforms necessary for generating experience insights within our enterprise. Our insightful storylines are holistic by integrating the inner (touch point) and outer (relationship) member experience loops. We collaborate with business partners to activate our insights and connect our work to primary business outcomes such as positive impacts on retention, engagement, growth and/or ROI.
Responsibilities
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer may leverage voice of the customer, NPSt/NPSr (Net Promoter Systems), root cause, telling the story, call listening, member experience design, elimination and recognition of friction points to influence department's strategy. In this role the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will use data analytics and research in support of new insights, translates results of analyses into actionable recommendations. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics Communications or Business
5 or more years of data analysis experience
Must be proficient in SQL and SAS
Demonstrated ability using Power BI for creating data visualizations
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Ability to interpret assignments and understand department strategy
Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work
Ability to interpret and communicate performance and outcomes
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
Experience making decisions and working independently with little supervision

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
