Job Summary:
Sr. Associate - Operations will be responsible for overseeing Day to Day systems operations of the captive finance organization. This includes availability, SLA, incident reporting and escalation. The Sr. Associate of Operations will work closely with the infrastructure team (Systems Engineering and Systems Operations, Telecom, Network and DBA's)and Application Development teams in planning releases, upgrades and patches and in addressing production related issues. The Sr. Associate of Operations will develop KPI metrics, monitor activities/performance associated with the KPI, recommend and implement improvements. This position will report to the Manager of Operations Captive finance and serve as a member of the operations team responsible for technology supporting the client
Job Responsibilities:
20% Will be responsible for planning, execution, and monitoring of the following areas:
Disaster recovery
Local inventory maintenance/support
Technology operations working with infrastructure teams
Technology audit response
Request inventory management (help desk tickets, system change requests, etc.)
Technology capacity trending
Process & procedures for IT operations
Other areas as assigned
20% Provide escalated on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. Provide management summary of issues including chronology of events, assessments and recommendations for preventive actions
20% Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of department mission -- specifically, enhance management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
20% Manage staff responsible for tier 1 support for all HCA technology needs
10% Performs complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches and re-installations in cooperation with the Enterprise Helpdesk and in accordance with established SLAs.
10% Report HISNA’s performance with respect to SLA achievement to HISNA and HCA management as appropriate (daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
Required Skills, Attributes & Education :
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
5 to 8 years related experience or equivalent combination
Minimum 3 years managing or overseeing infrastructure projects
Previous experience in financial services
Experience with package software implementation
Strong and proven skills in managing technology projects and integration issues.
ITIL Certification
PM experience in delivering traditional and e-business applications
