The Department of A&F VP of Finance Business Affairs Office is currently seeking a full-time Financial Administrator to assist with a variety of financial functions and support the University’s mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all other activities. This is an entry level financial position that emphases strong detailed orientation and a desire to learn. Job Duties:

*Draft correspondences and reports for director *Assist faculty and staff with researching, locating, developing, writing, and administering federal, state, and private grants, contracts, and external funding sources; *Oversee and ensure compliance of grants *Assist in development and drafting of policies *Process requisitions into purchase orders, term contract releases, PCard transactions or Small Dollar Invoice transactions *Process change orders to the above when required *Process invoices and resolve discrepancies *Distributing asset tags and coordinating asset audits. *Oversee the planning and supervision of the fiscal administrative activities of a unit; *Coordinate and monitor fiscal administrative duties; *Assist in the development of unit policies and procedures; *Monitor the financial status of unit programs and other budget allocations; *Implement policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; *Prepare reports *General office filing, paperwork, and spreadsheets *Perform related duties based on departmental need.
 

Minimum Qualifications:   Bachelor's degree; - OR- Associate's degree and two (2) years’ experience; -OR- four (4) years’ experience; degree must be in accounting or related field with related finance or accounting experience.
