Aon is looking for a Regional Manager-Financial Services Group (Quebec) Your team will deliver innovative and effective solutions for our Financial Services customers across the Quebec region. Through your combination of technical and relationship management skills, you will have the opportunity to help clients make better decisions, including at the C-suite level. Job Responsibilities:Oversee the ongoing management of the regional Financial Services Group to support the delivery of client service excellence in the Quebec region (servicing Montreal and Quebec City offices)Ensuring delivery on local FSG business plan objectives designed to enhance our value proposition and deliver on our key growth strategiesCreating and communicating FSG’s product and service expertise through presentations, panel discussions and educational events, both internally and externallyBuilding internal and external relationships through demonstrated competency, understanding of the clients’ business, and a transparent, consultative styleOn key and critical local accounts identified, working in collaboration with Senior Leadership to:Build and maintain ongoing strategic C level customer relationshipProvide consultative service to the key decision makers, which are typically the CFO, Chief Counsel or Board members (e.g. head of Audit Committee)Manage complex sales situations and acquire clients based on “value based selling”Managing the operational and fiscal activities of the department which include talent management, budgets and attainment of financial goalsAnalyzing business processes and problems and accordingly, develop solutions to enhance efficienciesCoordinating and implementing solutions for process analysis and general department projectsCommunicating with other functional departments units to ensure proper service and quality levels are maintained.Talent Management:Building the experience, knowledge and capabilities of the broking resources into collaborative, high performing teamWorking collaboratively with Senior Leadership and HR Managers to foster a positive employee environment that is receptive to changeIn conjunction with Human Resources, determining and deploying effective succession planning, performance management, learning and development solutions, including structured mentorship programsRequired Experience:Minimum five (5) years of commercial insurance and/or marketing/broking experience required;Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;Client relationship focused;Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, verbally and written; strong preference for French/English bilingualismStrong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of competing deadlines;Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.Aon has a comprehensive compensation package including a base salary, bonus for meeting team professional sales/service targets and an extensive benefits package.
