We call this Smart Working! The Opportunity: Primarily responsible for planning and execution of annual SOX program for Aon Australia, coordination of annual audit process including preparation of annual statutory financial reports for the Australia Group and AFSL compliance activities on monthly basis. Key responsibilities will include:Collaborate closely with various business units to obtain all vital information for the audits as required and meeting all audit deadlines.Provide all vital information to auditors to carry out the annual S404 audit including access to internal SOX test resultsPlan and execute review of client’s invoicing and money handling activities performed by third party contractor.Coordinate assumptions with BU heads and prepare detailed impairment analysis for all business units.Assist the PNG finance team in expected credit loss and cost-to-fulfil analyses.Assist the Financial Risk & Reporting Manager to prepare lease reassessment analysis in accordance with IFRS 16.Prepare quarterly pack to comply with net tangible assets requirement under s912AA of Corporations Act 2001.Assist finance PNG finance team in preparing annual insurer return.Assist finance team in providing right information to auditors in relation to ESL returns for AFSL entities. Coordinate activities for actual lodgement of ESL returns. About you: This position will suit someone with excellent oral & written communication skills. Suitable people will also have:CPA/CA qualified or an equivalent certificationA degree in Accounting/finance3-4 years’ previous experience managing/coordinating the SOx 404 program (planning, testing and remediation processes) preferably within a large multi-national financial services company.At least 1-2 years’ experience in preparing general purpose financial statements in compliance with IFRS for the lodgement with ASIC for large multi-national public companies.Detailed knowledge on IFRS, the latest development and their application is essential.Knowledge on US GAAP, all applicable Australian regulation for a financial service organisation is desired but not crucialAbility to interact with various internal & external stakeholders at various levels.Excellent hands-on experience in MS Office packages more specifically excel, word & Visio.Ability to prepare financial reports using excel/word and do flow charts using Visio. About Us: We’re a team of authentic and smart individuals passionate about providing outstanding value to our clients and our local communities.
