SUMMARY:This position is responsible for assisting the Foodservice Channel & Customer Analytics Team on projects related to post promotional analysis, merchandising capabilities, assortment planning, corporate reporting, industry trends, and customer presentations. This internship will provide the successful candidate with tasks that influence the Tyson Foodservice team and our customers to make smarter business decisions. This includes working in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting commercial managers with their project needs. The ideal candidate must be intellectually curious, proactive, a self-starter and self-motivated with a passion to assist Tyson Foods in becoming the global innovative leader of food experiences. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for a career path in multiple business disciplines including channel development, marketing, sales, category management/leadership, space planning and insights & analytics in Foodservice and Retail. It will provide broad networking opportunities and highly visible project involvement.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Preferred business degree with major in marketing, finance, leadership actively being pursued, but will consider other majors. Must be in good standing; entering Junior or Senior year of a four year accredited University, preferred.Experience: Previous work experience in any field.Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort in presenting to various levels of management in the organization.Special Skills: Desire to learn strong analytical and data manipulation skills, be a problem solver with a high attention to detail and the ability to project plan and prioritize workload. The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic who takes initiative and is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

This is a year round internship position in Springdale, AR. Candidates should anticipate working 18 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week over the summer.
