Responsibilities
The Senior Business Systems Data Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Uses data analysis tools (T-SQL, PL-SQL, TOAD, Power-BI, Azure) to analyze moderately complex to highly complex data in determining rules for data translation, data integration, and data visualization
Uses performance metrics to identify cost benefits, return on investment, and key result outcomes
Partners with Retail Sales Leaders, operations teams, subject matter experts, training, and IT Teams to develop and deploy continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Cultivates relationships with multiple internal Business and IT partners
Initiates and facilitates meetings to identify, document, and prioritize business technology needs that align with department deliverables and organizational goals
Champions the customer by accurately representing their prioritized needs in the requirements, development, and testing phases of each project
Implements Change Management processes as needed to maintain accurate requirements dependencies and documentation
Required Qualifications
2 years experience using T-SQL, PL-SQL, Toad, Azure, and/or PowerBI to analyze, interpret, and visualize data
2 years of working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, meeting facilitation, negotiation, follow-up, analytical, and problem solving skills
Solid change management and documentation skills
Ability to work with project stakeholders and remote teams at all levels in the organization in a collaborative, team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, data science, business administration or similar
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Experience with Cost Benefit Analysis
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
Experience with Agile development processes and user story writing
Six Sigma certification
Agile Practitioner
Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
Additional Information
Minimal nights or weekends may be required to support production turns or monitoring during AEP.
