In this role, you will work on the IT Organizational Strategy Metrics and Dashboards Team and will have the opportunity to work IT leaders across the organization to tell compelling stories with data. You will support key operating IT measures that are shared with our board, CIO and senior leaders to help drive improvement. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, occasionally in ambiguous situations and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Ability and desire to quickly learn new concepts and skills and be agile and responsive to changing business needs
Skilled in collaborating and presentation delivery
Proficiency in understanding survey related data
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
Self-motivated and possess ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
For Work at Home: Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings and must have a high-speed capability

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems
Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Qlik for creating data visualizations
Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors
Skilled in consultative and interviewing skills, validating sentiment assumptions
Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, R and PBI DAX
Knowledge in satisfaction surveys and feedback management
Experience in machine learning and intellectual curiosity
PMP Certification or project management experience
