Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist
Addison Group has a client located in the Twin Cities Metro who is actively looking for an experienced Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist
. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 4-6
years’ working as an Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist or Lead. The ideal candidates will have previously processed high volume of invoices, heavy 1099 processing, setting up all new vendor/client information, vendor issue/resolution, and have advanced Excel skills. This Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist
position is contract position that start immediately and will go for about 3 months or more.
Responsibilities include:
Experience processing a high volume of AP invoices
Identifies invoice errors and makes necessary corrections
Monitors client information, financials, balances and any outstanding accounting or invoice information that needs to be corrected.
Assists with billing for all clients/vendors
Training other AP staff on process procedures when needed
Working AP Supervisor for auditing AP and Reporting of AP monthly, Quarterly and Year End.
Ability to work in Oracle or other large ERP systems
Ability to give process improvements to the team, work well with others and have a high attention to detail.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Prefer a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
Systems experience in Excel and Oracle
Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
Strong work ethic, ability to meet expectations in a very large and fast paced environment with little direction
