Aon is looking for a Finance Manager As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Aon. As a Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Finance. Your impact as a Finance Manager In this role you will be an integral part of the Canada’s Finance Planning and Analysis team, a trusted advisor to regional leaders and support the Director of Finance in leading and executing on finance and business priorities in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment.You will be viewed as a knowledgeable leader, a creative thinker and problem solver. You have proven credibility and integrity working with both clients and teams and driving value throughout the organization. Your role will include building talent, communicate business challenges / opportunities and demonstrating mentorship and sharing intellectual capital. Job Responsibilities Manage and complete financial close processCreate, build, manage and maintain Financial reporting and analysis for solution linePrepare MD&A on a monthly basis, including forward looking statementsSystem administrator and manage forecasting system for businessEnable and manage the process for the business to update forecastsLoad monthly revenue extracts from subsystem(s) to GLUpdates manage and enter financial forecast into TM1Managing invoicing process for areas of the businessResponsible for commission payment reconciliation and management of carrier receivablesYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseMinimum 7 years of Accounting/Finance experience in a corporate environment with 1 year of leadership/management experienceAttention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated technical accounting and finance competency to enable the creation of innovative solutionsProfessional demeanor with positive attitude and influence on others within the organizationExceptional interpersonal skills with capability to interact with leaders to cultivate and maintain strong relationshipsStrong presentation skills that engage a variety of audiences and culturesDetail oriented but able to step back to understand and articulate the bigger pictureAbility to work well under pressure and to prioritize multiple projectsHigh advance skills in MS Excel Experience with Workday and TM1 a plusExperience in the insurance industry is an assetEducationPost-secondary Degree with a focus in Finance or AccountingAccounting designation (CA/CPA or equivalent) We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
