Corporate IT Systems Delivery Leader Are you an experienced IT Project Manager?Would you like to focus on IT Product Delivery? Join Aon’s growing team as a Corporate IT Systems Delivery Leader! This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chicago office  Aon is in the business of better decisions At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.  As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.  What the day will look like We are looking for an experienced technology program IT executive to serve as the overall Delivery Excellence Leader for the Corporate Solutions organization, the role covers strategy development, discovery assessments, and capability delivery.  The organization requires a resource with strong delivery skills across various technologies, functions, and vendors across a global team.  This role interacts with all levels within the organization and across the company that includes senior executive management.  This ideal candidate needs to have strong enterprise portfolio management experience, executive presence, and communication skills to interact with all levels virtually and in person.  The lead will be required to manage these relationships in person as needed to drive through various group strategies across the businesses.  The detailed focused initiatives is as follows:Provides insight, direction, and leadership regarding portfolio management, delivery strategy, and project managementSupport strategic cross portfolio planning, prioritization, and goal setting across the organization and functionsLead the overall strategy development and implementation of the Delivery Excellence organization within Corporate SystemsDefine standards for lean portfolio and program management processes, services, and deliverables while continually assessing Delivery Excellence methodologiesUses insight, experience, and knowledge to drive the utilization of technology delivery, support, and operations to bring the best practices to the ongoing initiatives and new program initiationOversee the development and strategy for both solution and deployment delivery sub organizations that will also contribute to the overall Delivery Excellence organizationDevelop the overall resource, delivery management, and monitoring structure that cross all functions and product managersProvides strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the organization and projects to ensure the overall Delivery Strategy and underlying capabilities are consistently leveraged.Foster a collaborative environment where functions and matrixed teams can contribute to the overall development of the Delivery Excellence capabilities at the beginning and throughout the various programs. Program DeliveryManage the overall delivery for Treasury Workstation Transformation as the overall program lead that encompasses overall project delivery and stakeholder management.  This program is targeted to transition a legacy treasury function and platform to a newer cloud vendor.Manage the overall delivery for the Business Insights program as the overall program manager that includes the overall daily management of the delivery team, status and issue management, and stakeholder management.  This is a program that is set to expand the Workday footprint by bringing in enriched revenue and policy management system transactions to enable business and finance leader analytics and insights.Skills and experience that will lead to success10 Years in Large IT Project Management and Program DeliveryStrong experience using the Microsoft Office suite and other program management contributing toolsetsStrong communications skills covering both written and verbalPreferred Certifications in Delivery Methodologies: PMP, Agile, Scrum or Equivalent CertificationExperience with various program management tracking and issue management tracking technologiesExperience in Workday, Kyriba and/or Coupa is a plus, but not requiredEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent years of industry experience.  How we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
