As Business Operations Lead, you will be a key member of this team, working with a broad community of internal stakeholders to ensure we meet the mobility needs of our wholesale partners. You will be owner and responsible party for monitoring and optimizing our Business Processes and developing strategic insights and analyses to drive the direction of the Wholesale Mobility business into the future.
What’s the role –
Prepare and present thorough, accurate reporting using Shell leveraged technology that’s supported by well thought-out, economics-based business cases.
Perform analyses of business results and plan achievement. Proactively identify opportunities, trends, learnings and recommend changes.
Perform and support various analysis and strategy development as required by leadership and the field.
Manage the tracking and enforcement of obligations of both Shell and our Wholesalers under the terms of prior asset divestments, including both business and real estate commitments.
Continually monitor ways of working and streamlining processes, manage process improvement projects across several teams and platforms to allow an ease of doing business with Shell
Collaboration and lead with Legal, Sales and the Business Manager to understand, consult and manage Real Estate issues and obligations.
Work with Sales Teams to define and create the story for Intensive Business Reviews (IBR) for sales team’s engagement with leadership.
Manage and monitor our operating expense budget for the Sales organization, providing regular updates and insights to the Sales leadership team throughout the year.
Lead and organize Sales, Demand and Pricing Leadership Team Huddles on a bi-weekly basis.
Participate in ad hoc special projects as they arise, representing the Wholesale Moblity Sales Organization.
The successful candidate for this role will be an individual that thrives on and is able to balance both ownership and collaboration. Business Operations Manager, there will be a clear level of autonomy, and responsibility. Success will be defined by an individual’s ability to work collaboratively with Territory Managers, internal stakeholders and team members to deliver performance results. Developing strong working relationships and ability to leverage those relationships and create value will be critical to success.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a learner mindset and a generalist flexibility to adequately manage the broad range of responsibilities required for the role.

What we need from you -
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or equivalent with at least three (3) years relevant experience in Sales and Finance.
Specific professional skills include:
Strong leadership of cross-functional teams/networks with excellent communication skills.
Position requires strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Strong Understanding of Excel, Powerpoint. GSAP and Salesforce are preferred but can be learned on the job.
The Business Operations Lead has played a key role in developing commercial staff. This role will give the incumbent the skillset and experiences to develop into a successful Territory Manager in the future. During this role, the individual will have an opportunity to build knowledge and understanding of SOPUS business, processes, financial impact, brand value, marketing programs, pricing and supply, etc.
