We are actively seeking a Finance Operations Manager, located in Melbourne, who will be responsible for general oversight of the accounting and finance function in Australia, New Zealand, and other South Pacific areas as we expand. This individual will work directly with the sales, marketing, and operations teams for YETI Australia. The candidate will also assist in managing external professional relationships (auditors, tax advisors, banks, legal counsel).
Responsibilities:
Work with functional teams in the U.S. and local 3

party partners to establish processes and capabilities needed to support YETI Australia operations and financial reporting.
Manage banking and treasury structure, in coordination with the corporate treasury function.
Support the budgeting process by developing the business annual operating plans.
Execute monthly financial close processes including submission of all required financial reporting schedules and support within the timeline established by the corporate accounting team.
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting associated with KPI’s and performance to forecasts (management reporting) to the YETI Australia team and corporate finance.
Ensure that YETI Australia remains in compliance with all appropriate local tax and reporting regulations including maintaining statutory financial statements.
Manage data integrity for the business.
Qualifications and Attributes
Bachelor's degree in accounting
6-8 years of combined professional finance and accounting experience
CPA/CA qualification preferred
Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
Experience with foreign exchange
Experience with an integrated ERP system required
Experience in branded consumer goods, sold through multiple channels including export
Experience with US publicly traded large multi-national companies preferred
Outstanding analytical skills, data interpretation skills, and understanding of forecast and planning processes required
Passion for accuracy, details and is highly organized
Effective communicator who can present complex information in a clear fashion
