Position Summary
The AVP-Capital Markets Pricing Manager is responsible for managing the functions associated with the preparation and delivery of daily mortgage pricing and lock desk operations for loans originated through RoundPoint’s Traditional Retail channel.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee the Pricing and Lock Desk staff to ensure that policies and procedures are followed, monitors the generation of rate sheets, manages daily rate lock confirmations and changes, and interacts with the sales and operations staff when issues arise.
Responsible for timely and accurate creation, validation and maintenance of the rate sheet format and content, including pricing models and formulas related to pricing and rate sheets.
Distribute daily rate sheet including repricing; calculate pricing based on corporate profit margins, Capital Market execution and market movements.
Conduct daily pricing validation.
Serve as business partners' primary contact for rate sheet inquiries
Participate in the design and coordinate with Product Development to ensure that proper pricing and lock procedures are in place for all new and/or modified products including involvement with the UAT phases of system development for Encompass and Optimal Blue updates.
Prepare and distribute weekly competitive rate analysis.
Maintain branch and MSA level margin records
Interact with senior management in the setting of corporate and holdback margins
Document and maintain all related policies and procedures to ensure up to date processes and controls are in place at all times.
Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
Incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s commitment to compliance
Qualifications
Required:
5 years of experience in mortgage banking with experience in mortgage pricing and capital markets.
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent analytical skills – proficiency in Excel required.
Excellent verbal communication skills, frequent communication with senior leadership is required.
Excellent written presentation skills for producing executive level presentation material
Desired:
Master’s Degree
Previous experience in Data Reporting a plus but not required
Knowledge of Encompass and Optimal Blue preferred.
