DescriptionAn Assistant Director of Finance is responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.What will I be doing?As the Assistant Director of Finance, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:nManage the department to include, but not limited to, managing special projects, monitoring and developing team member performance, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, delivering recognition and reward, recruiting, interviewing and training team membersnDirectly oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit and Night Audit functionsnPrepare budget and maintain spending controls to ensure budgetary limits are metnPrepare annual depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions and alterationsnReview and approve all ledger account reconciliations including, but not limited to, bank statements, assets liabilities and credit cardsnCoordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and monitor coding of cash receiptsnAssist Director with internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers and preparation for and monitoring of the capital budgetnPrepare financial reports, prepare utilities and telephone accruals, monitor records of inventory and ensure compliance with all established billing and credit standardsnReview and approve tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state regulationsnMonitor, approve and prepare daily payroll accounts and issue all paychecksnRequirementsWhat are we looking for?Since being founded in 1919, Hilton has been a leader in the hospitality industry.
