Aon is looking for a Health Solutions, Pharmacy Financial ConsultantWe are currently seeking a Pharmacy Financial Consultant to join our National Pharmacy Team. This role will be supporting our Employer Team working on direct to employer and Aon Rx Coalition (ARxC) business. The future of the pharmacy benefit and its integration with the broader healthcare discussion is critical to improving health and reducing the cost of healthcare. Aon’s pharmacy practice is integrated with consulting colleagues outside the practice who bring expertise in all areas of healthcare and who share the vision for efficient and effective healthcareJob overviewThis Pharmacy Financial Consultant will assist the Employer Financial and Delivery Team in supporting the broader Pharmacy Team on a range of activities, including but not limited to providing technical, financial, and consultative support to consulting staff on a variety of client projects.This role can be based out of our Bloomington, MN office or virtually from anywhere in the US.Duties and responsibilitiesParticipates as a member of the Pharmacy Financial TeamSupports senior consultants and Pharmacy team in pharmacy benefits, providing financial expertise as a member of the client consulting team, responding to consultant inquiries related to financials, developing knowledge on best practices & standard methodologies and market trends, and contributing to the developments and enhancement of new and existing products and servicesAssists senior consultants with marketing and sales effortsPerforms coalition savings and disruption analyses for prospective coalition membersPrepares value proposition presentation to discuss opportunity with prospects; participates in presentation to prospects and finalist meetings with PBM partnersAssists with development and production of analytics for clientsResponds quickly to client and colleague requests and works to provide timely and accurate information and documentation; Works with a high level of interest, energy and enthusiasm to meet or exceeds client expectations.Teamwork and Resource Management: Understands and values all roles and functions needed to complete client projects and provide on-going service; Communicates and works well with colleagues at all levels and is viewed as a great teammate & standout colleague.Ethical Behavior: Adheres to professional standards and ethics in one’s field and demonstrates the highest level of integrity and honesty in all interactions;Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills: Analytical thinking systematically tests and probes to discover trends and eliminate potential problemsProject management experience: Establishes priorities for multiple tasks/projects based on timeliness, importance, and urgency of project completion.Assists with the execution of some or all the following types of consulting projects, providing financial expertise as part of the consulting team:Benefit strategy and clinical program reviewPlan design benchmarkingMarket ChecksPreparing engagement/client materials for sales and marketing effortsProcurement/Renewal projectsVendor management, including negotiations, problem resolution, and regional/local interfaceYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience:Ideal candidate would have worked at a PBM or health insurance company or has pharmacy or health benefit consulting experience,3 years of experience in consulting, underwriting, analytics, programming, finance, accounting, actuarial science, and/or economicsExceptional analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong intuition for businessProven Project Management skills are desirableConsulting or Health care experience preferredClient Service OrientationStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent Microsoft Office skills -- Excel, Power Point, Access and WordAbility to travelEducation:Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, economics, finance or healthcare administration preferred.We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.The salary range for this position is $93-$115K annually. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.
